Withdrawal & Cancellation
Last updated: June 2026
Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, under EU consumer law as implemented in the Dutch Civil Code (Article 6:230m and following). The period ends 14 days after the day the contract was concluded (for services and digital content).
How to withdraw
To exercise the right, tell us your decision by a clear statement, for example by email to hello@planetexpat.nl. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, send your communication before the 14-day period expires.
Digital content and immediate access
For digital content and digital services (such as a course or guide you access immediately), the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun only if you have (1) given your express prior consent to immediate performance and (2) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. At checkout we ask for both before giving immediate access. If you do not give that consent, your 14-day right continues.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw in time and the exception above does not apply, we refund all payments received without undue delay and within 14 days, using the same means of payment you used.
