The controller for your personal data is WDJ Marketing Services, Burgemeester Patijnlaan 604, 2585 CC The Hague (’s-Gravenhage), Netherlands. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@planetexpat.nl.
What we collect and why

- Payment data, processed by our payment provider. We receive a payment confirmation and your plan status; we never see or store your card details. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legal accounting obligations.
- Analytics and usage data, only where you have consented (see Cookies below). Legal basis: your consent.
- Communications, if you email us or sign up for updates. Legal basis: your consent or our legitimate interest in replying to you.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Non-essential cookies and analytics (for example Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) are only loaded after you opt in through our consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to withdraw consent.
Processors and third parties
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement: our hosting and platform provider, our authentication provider, our payment provider, our email provider, and our analytics provider where you have consented. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Neighbourhood data
Our scores are built on public, aggregated statistics from official sources. This is not personal data and is never linked to individuals.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except records we must retain to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@planetexpat.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, AP).
